Unwanted Windows 7 sounds

Windows 7 persists in playing a background theme sound when my computer is idle for 10 minutes or so. I have tried turning off all sounds, but Windows still plays this background music. How can I permanently stop the sounds from being played ?

Maybe its from the screensaver.. did you try changing the screensaver?

Some desktop themes include their own sound schemes. Additionally, some third party installed software may be making use of this feature for itself.
