Lets see what BobW20 has to say .
It sounds good

Thanks again guys & partial Update. All the CD's I have tried to play (that I burnt) have been CD-R. The manual does not address the problem other than saying to try a known good CD - they work perfectly.
The first CD I tried to burn had some problems with a loose nut in front of the keyboard and only recorded one song but it did play in the GMC. It was on a Verbatim "DataLifePlus" CD-R. I only had one of these blank disks. The other Verbatim's were just DataLife - no Plus. The odd thing is that the Plus CD that plays in the GMC will not play in my PC and when looking at it with Windows Explorer it looks like a blank disk. Don't have a clue why that is but I will pick up some more "Plus" blanks and try it again. The Plus CD had a Bon Jovi tract and the other disks I have tried have been trucker or 50 & 60's songs. Maybe my player just likes Bon Jovi, maybe I should pour some diesel fuel or Nitro in it ..... Will post results after trying different brands of blank CD's

Definitely is because Bon Jovi. Delay the Nitro idea a few days. Try other brands CDs. Maybe a CD burnt in another computer, or with another program as CDburnerXp. Then if nothing works, I have a lighter to ignite the Nitro

Smile Problem solved

Seems GM CD players are very touchy with regards to non-commercial CD's. I burnt CDs on three other burners and was successful with two of them on all brands of media except Ativa. Verbatim and Memorex both had the best sound quality and sterio effect.

Thanks for all your help, Bob W
