Default No software can make my computer shut down on its own

I use 64bit Windows 7 Ultimate SP1. At first the task scheduler worked fine when I tried it once, but then I decided to try PShutDown, went to sleep and in the morning the computer was still working. Then did a dry run and it worked. The next night the computer was working the whole night again. Then I went back to the scheduler and it also stopped working. Then I ran MyDefrag with Tray Tools and selected shutdown after finish and the computer was still on at the morning again. What could be the issue? The first time I used the scheduler it worked fine.

Try "Run as Administrator."

If you set 'Task Scheduler' correctly to run C: > Windows > System32 > Shutdown.exe
It will shut down.
