Can I bulk download all posts from a phpBB forum topic?

Hi, all...

I'd like to scoff up every post from a topic on a phpBB bulletin board (not this one

) so I can run a script on the resulting file to extract selected data items. The BB owner has no objection but hasn't a clue as to how to do this, or even if it can be done.

I can copy a page of 8 or 10 posts easily enough, but this BB topic has over 200 pages now, and a page at a time would be a chore.

Can anybody help with this?

Have you tried HTTrack? It's free and GPL'ed (Y)

Yeah, I have HTTrack, Blode; I tried it for this chore some time ago and was unsuccessful... probably user error... I'll give it another shot if nothing new and exciting comes along...
