Pc running a bit sluggish.....
My pc running a bit sluggish since iv done it..running slow..especially when im on the net...checked device manager and multimedia audio controller is yellow and says the driver is not installed so went to do it and it said windows cauld not find driver for this device..also pci input is the same...dont understand as i thought windows 7 has all the drivers i need..never had this problem before ..can this be the cause for my pc to run slow and sluggish..just seems to be missing drivers some how...any help would be much appreciatedthanks.. ![]() ![]()

fitzy, earlier you had posted about a virus problem on your PC. Are you sure that you got rid of the virus completely? Your earlier thread was here :
error code 80072efe. If virus/spyware are still there, that might be a cause for PC running sluggish. I don't think that PC will be running sluggish because drivers are not installed. If drivers are not installed for a particular hardware, that hardware might not work properly, or might not work at all. But, I don't think it will cause a PC to run slow. So, I think there are other reasons to be looked into. First make sure, your PC does not have virus on it. Run scans with your antivirus, and antispyware software like MBAM, and Superantispyware. Preferably run these scans after disconnecting from the internet. Also update their definitions before you scan the PC. How much RAM is there on your PC? It might also be a cause for PC running sluggish. Is there enough RAM? Are there any extra processes running around, that should not be running?
