Lexmark printer-driver keeps on disappearing

Whenever I have to reboot my PC the printer driver(Lexmark) disappears and I
have to go through the whole process of reinstalling it.
What can I do to keep it there?

Make sure the lexmark printer is shown in the printer utility located in the control panel. Do you have it as your default printer? Are you by any chance running a SandieBox type program like Returnil or BufferZone?
