Default RPC server unavailable

I have disabled or deleted svchost-k services. No RPC server (disabled), no sound, no drag and drop, etc., etc. (No system restore!) Used Wise registry/disc tools, not much help. Unable to use MMC too. Is there a resource available (other than MS website) that can repair/ restore missing/ disabled software/ registry without backup or MRC? (xp pro)

If you've somehow deleted system files this may help recover them. I've tested the free version and it can actually recover data from a deleted partition so maybe it will help you. Failing that someone around here (many someones probably) will be able to advise you better than i can.

Default I knew it...Thanks.

A disc (or download) that works like (or with) the MRC. This computer has CADM software as well as PLC cards/software w/extra registry and is a machine server. Microsoft won't touch a private build, (nor should they) and I've lost my stripped down and extensively modified OS disc. This 'puter's an old workhorse, and difficult to replace (expensive too). Thanks for responding so quickly. I'll let ya know.
