New Windows 7 computer - FireFox Backup

I just bought a new HP Windows 7, 64 bit computer. I used Mozilla Backup on old computer and put data on external hard drive. When I go on new computer to use backup after installing backup from external drive Mozilla backup won't work. I think because old computer was 32 bit. What do I do to get data from Thunderbird and Firefox?

Make sure you download and install the 32-bit version of Firefox from the normal download page.
Native 64-bit browsers are currently not worthwhile, there's a lack of plugins support.
