I have a new refurb computer.
In running an Excel 2007 spreadsheet 'Rank and Percentile' using Analysis ToolPak, I found that Excel 2007 takes 10 minutes to reanalyze a data set that Excel 2003 does in less 5 sec. on the same computer. In testing this I found out that Excel 2007 will run faster with multi-threading turned off than with it turned on. Which leads me to wonder if the CPU/motherboard is as it should be. Any ideas on how to test this supposition? Or any other ideas? Thanks. |
