I have just updated the latest Vista updates and it stuck on the last update 3. It just starts up and states to not to turn off your comp, but its doing it itself. It obviously turned itself off on update 2 and not the 3rd update. I wasn't around the comp whilst it was updating I let it do it by itself, came back and its keeps rebooting on the last update. So how do I stop it and get my comp back?
I did try and repair with the Vista disk, but no luck. Need the computer tonight asap. Dam Microsoft and their updates!! Please, would love some help Tony |

Ok folks desperate times mean desperate measures. I have had to reboot with Macrium Reflect. It just would not let me into the command prompt, safe mode or anything. This just means one thing and thats to re-write over the Vista with the Vista backup I had done yesterday. Which was a stroke of luck. I will NOT be updating from now on as I can't trust Microsoft and I will be letting them know this.
So if you have Vista and are looking at the latest updates - DO NOT. My setup was fine 2 hours a go. Tony |

Sorry I can't offer any constructive support Tony but please can you list the update file title so that the rest of us can exclude this one until we see a fix for it.
