Default Runtime Error Problem R6025???

Hi All,

Over the past year, I somtimes get this windows message that reads as follows;

Runtime Error:
Program:C: (back slash) Program File/Internet Explorer/iexplore.exe
R 6025
-pure virtual function call (or cell)

within the minute the desktop window goes blank, and the system rebootes
itself (but doesn't completely shout down or off) automaticaly.

Have Windows XP-SP3,using Intel Celeron,all patches,updates current

Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Please be detailed
with directions,as I am an newbie.

Thanks in advance for the help ))))

Hi

Although this is quite an old thread it still contains quite a lot of relevant information. My best guess though is that you might need to seek outside help to resolve this completely. You could also try scanning your system with a standalone scanner like A-Squared to see if indeed the cause might be an infection.
