Default CS:S issue

Hello, recently my Counter Strike: Source has started to lag. This happens every 2 seconds. I also walk slowly sometimes, I can post a video I made.

Thanks!

This is a sighn of latency (high ping), it could be that you are too far away from the server hosting the game, or that you have an issue with your internet connection.
A couple causes could be: downloading something while playing the game, having a torrent client running, windows is downloading updates, a virus, someone else is on your network at the same time as you, or just a slow internet connection.

If you are using wireless internet I would suggest moving your computer or router to see if you get better reception.
Check out this article for more helpfull suggestions: How to Reduce Latency on All Games

There are a couple other fixes out there involving the registry (TcpAckFrequency method), and TCP optomizers, but I strongly suggest that you try everything above first.

Does this happen regularly?
Your FPS don't seem to be capped in your video, while 212 fps is cool to have, you should probalbly cap it at something lower. You are essentually over-using your graphics card. It's working at full throttle for a game it could run much easier. If you've been playing a lot, it could just be getting too hot.

This does happen regularly, and my css has worked fine before, but just a few days ago it started to lag.
