Thumbs up Ever heard of the Lin City (Sim City-like)

I like the game in Facebook called Social City. I want one similar to that. It requires internet connectivity so what I'm looking for is something similar to the old Sim City Games. My PC is AMD Sempron Win XP and no internet connectivity. I found this Lin City... is there any freeware better than this? You can ignore this thread, that's ok with me.

I have played with it some. Lincity-NG is a newer version. Open Transportation Tycoon Deluxe is a similar style game but focuses on road building and transit systems http://www.openttd.org/en/ Mobility (mobility-online.de) is another game like OpenTTD. It is fully functional except games can't be saved unless you register.

Back when I was a kid I had fond memories of playing simcity and simcity 2000, so I tried these out, but they did not have the same appeal that they once did. My favorites are Age of Empires II and Age of Mythology, and a little Call of Duty.
