That's great. You might want to check out this link which will guide you to become a reviewer. Once you become an editor and if you would like to edit the stub for FPS, you can ask Elizabeth, our Editor Coordinator, to assign that category to you.

Lol, what type of background are you guys looking for? I've searched around for freeware a ton, but I'm not sure that qualifies me for anything professionally.

For the most part, none of us are professionals. We all are just passionate about freeware and are willing to dedicate some time to reviewing software and writing up reviews about them.

The hardest part is responding to the comments that your article will generate.....

You can use this form to contact Elizabeth, indicate the software category, such as Best Free FPS Game, that interests you and write a short one paragraph outline of your background. If you have a commercial affiliation please state it. Once you have sent off the form, Elizabeth will then guide you through the next steps.
