OpenArena - openarena.ws Sauerbraten - sauerbraten.org Nexuiz - alientrap.org/nexuiz Tremulous - tremulous.net Alien Arena - icculus.org/alienarena/rpa Warsow - warsow.net Assault Cube - assault.cubers.net Personally, I'm not a fan of first person shooters as my computer comes with low specs and a not so powerful graphic card. |

Sauerbraten - sauerbraten.org Good choices, because you can play against the computer. Not sure about the others. There are a ton of free games found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_freeware_games I found a couple of gems here that I play all the time. Cheers Wdhpr |

i'm looking for a first person shooting like counterstrike that doesn't need internet connectivity when you're playing it. I also want realistic ones like CS I hate games with magical stuff coming out from somebody's hand and aliens, zombies etc.

There is a single-player stealth/tactics game called Hidden and Dangerous Deluxe. It was released as freeware to promote its sequel.
http://www.gamershell.com/download_3644.shtml ![]() ![]() ![]() You take control of a special operations soldier and have to complete a variety of missions. You can alternate between each member in your squad, give commands from first person view, and map out an action plan for the units that are currently controlled by the computer. Steal weapons and ammo from the enemies you've killed to replenish your resources. There are tones of items, and an array of different vehicles at your command. Make use of distractions, bombs, and disguises as you fight your way through 9 campaigns. You have a limited number of soldiers and weapons for each campaign, so play sparingly. I really enjoyed this game, and hope you can too. Last edited by MidnightCowboy; 04. Mar 2010 at 10:05 AM. Reason: Removed nationality specific term used to describe an "enemy". |
