A friend of mine showed me this cool site with loads of fun minigames to play. There's a new game everyday (I think), there's game of the day, game of the month, featured games, staff picks and a whole lot more! Most of them are free with the exception that some require you to buy the full version if you want to play all the levels instead of those shown for free.

Note: These games require Macromedia Flash to play.

Default Best Free Computer Reversi

Subsequent to the BF Computer Chess and Go well done by Bob, I've added another new category Best Free Computer Reversi.

It's a nice game for all ages, easiest to learn among all board games. But it can take lifetime to master the game well, as hard as chess to win a game. About 20 free and downloadable software products have been reviewed, but only a few are selected for their better features and designs.

Perhaps it's another new software category good for RSS feeds after Chess and Go while the Game Section is expanding. My two cents worth of thought

Default Try here

You might also search the TSA site for "games".

I second that ... I think your Reversi page is a fine addition and deserves puiblicizing. I think some RSS subscribers who've never tried Othello (like me!) could have an enjoyable and interesting surprise.

Actually it applies to many,
Don't get addicted to chocolate,
Don't get addicted to games,
Don't get addicted to...
Don't get addicted to even computers. (I read this comic: A wife is cutting the wire to the PC, b'cos her hubby is addicted to it!)

Default games?

A naive question:

Do "toys" like these count as games?

http://bomomo.com/
http://www.mrpicassohead.com/create.html
http://www.zefrank.com/snowflake/
http://www.zefrank.com/dtoy_vs_byokal/
http://www.bitstorm.org/gameoflife/
http://balldroppings.com/js/

And if so, how do we classify them?
Useless wastes of times?

Just wondering...

Maybe a diversion of games, that's why Gizmo has put it right "Games and Diversions"

Rather than useless wastes of time, or complete wastes of time as I read it somewhere, these are Stress Relievers as someone called it. If one is bogged down with work, feeling stress or uneasy for most of the day, take a break, spend 5 minutes in these. They can relief you from stress and anxiety, even brighten you sometimes.

Here is another one: Test Your Eyes

Would anyone indulge in this? You won't, if you do, remind yourself: Get Back To Work.

Default Smart toys?

As well as "stress relievers", these "smart toys" might indirectly be problem solvers. I find ideas come as soon as I walk away from the issue I've been concentrating on. A good excuse for taking plenty of breaks (flushing sounds off ).

But I also like these toys for their own sake - I think Bonomo is brilliant.

When I was given a spirograph as a kid I remember my father saying what an intelligent toy he thought it was.

Nowadays, the internet gives us so much smart toy stuff completely free. For instance:
