Good day,
Gizmo Drive was working but now I cannot mount an iso image Gizmo Drive. Message received: Unexpected error. Error code: 320129 - 26 - 00000001 After clicking OK, Toshiba Disc Creator program pops up. I've run ComboFix, Malwarebytes, sfc /scannow at the command prompt and aswMBR but the problem remains. According to wiki errors these error codes are caused by misconfigured files in windows OS and that a registry scan should be run. I don't like the one offered there because Comodo firewall stated that the publisher of ErrorEnd ( ErrorRepair_file.) has NOT digitally signed their application. Hence the origin of the application should not be trusted. Any suggestions on which Registry cleaner is the most effective and reliable? Laptop system details: Toshiba Satellite 15" A305-S6841 CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T5550 @ 1.83GHz Ram: 3 Gb Hard drive: 400GB ( 2 X 200GB ) OS: Windows Vista 2007 Home Premium, 32bit, SP2 Explorer version: 7.0.6001.18000 Internet connection: DSL ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 with 256MB Intel Wireless WiFi link 4965AGN Realtek TRL8102E Family PCI-E Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0) Firewall and security software: Comodo & Avira Any help is appreciated. |

This error only appears for Toshiba products so it may be fixable in Toshiba Disc Creator.
You should not use wiki-errors.com because it is probably a malware site that gets people to download a dangerous "registry cleaner". It would have appeared first in your Google search because it is a sponsored link - I usually avoid them and stick to the standard search results. I also recommend that you install Web of Trust (WOT) to help warn you of such sites in future.

I also agree with J_L, and would advise not to go for registry cleaning, as this could make matters only worse.
I had searched for the error code on Google, and its related to Toshiba Disc Creator, and not Gizmo Drive. So, problem seems to be with the Toshiba Disc Creator. I saw on forums that it comes pre-installed, and it cannot be uninstalled. I will suggest contacting Toshiba support about the issue.

Hi Anupam, J_L, and Remah,
Thank you all for your help. I contacted Toshiba Support and they said the software can be uninstalled. I uninstalled Toshiba Disc Creator, reinstalled Gizmo Drive and mounting ISO images works fine. I'm not going to reinstall Toshiba Disc Creator 'cause I never use it. Please close this ticket. regards, Paul Last edited by pwilliam; 03. Jul 2011 at 01:10 AM. |
