1by1 1.1.7.X version problems

The last version of the small 1by1 audio player that I was able to see my MP3 files on a USB 3.0 drive was 1.1.6.8.

Once I started using any 1.1.7.X versions I can no longer see MP3 files on a USB 3.0 drive.
If I connect the USB 3.0 drive to a USB 2.0 port all the MP3s become visable.
Has anybody run into this problem and has some solution?

I am using Windows XP (Same issue for SP2 or SP3).
