Hi.
I want to make an image of my hard drive as per the instructions in the article on this site "Never reinstall windows again" The problem is that I can't make the bart PE boot disk because my windows XP installation disk is OEM. I did try and it warned me that my disk was OEM and that that may cause problems and it was right. So I would like to know if there is another way that I can get a bootable CD that will allow me to restore my drive image xml image. Thanks. |

Can you get a XP cd from somewhere (not OEM)? You just need to copy the entire content in a folder and use that when creating the Bart PE (no installation required). |

I'm not sure if I can find someone with a non oem xp disk but if I can I will give it a try. For now I think that I will try one of the other recomended drive imageing programs and see if I can get a linux boot CD to work.
Thanks. |
