Default TSA loading extremely slow today?

Hi,

Do the pages of TSA load extremely slow for anyone else today?
It takes ages to get from one point to another, with links form within the forum to other pages of TSA and the "Preview Post" taking the longest - feels like dial-up.

I've checked with other, heavy sites and they load at their usual speed, so it's not a general connection issue on my side.

Hope it's a temp thing, as it ruined my, usually pleasant, expirience here.

Pages will be loading slow for everyone. We had some problem today with the server, and seems like its still continuing. The site was even down in the morning for about 2 and a half hours. We hope that the problem will be resolved soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for the reply Anupam.
No need to apologize, unless you caused the server issues .
I just hope it gets resolved soon.

Cheers

This issue is fixed now but may possibly re-occur in a few days as the hardware upgrade causing it has been temporarily reverted while we look at other options.

My apologies too for the snails pace of yesterday, but the net result of our efforts should be a faster overall speed than before. Please bear with us.

Hi,
Yes, everything's working fine again.

@MC
Could you give us a heads up if & when we may experience it again? It's better (in terms of psychology) if one knows ahead. Thanks.

This is a very good point in theory but not so easy to put into practice. Sometimes scheduled events get changed last minute and/or we need to react quickly as someone or something suddenly becomes available. Whenever possible Gizmo always posts a notice at the top of the main site pages so this is the best we can do.
