Default Links on home page result in "Page Not Found" pages

If I try to access any content from the Home page without being logged in, I get taken to blank pages with the "Page Not Found Message" displayed. However, if I am logged in, the site works as it always has (until this morning). Does that reflect a new policy, restricting access to the site to registered users? If so, how does that square with the following statement on the FAQ page?

Site registration is only necessary if you wish to post to our forum, write an article for the site or want to make a wiki-style edit of an article on the site. Apart from that, there is no need to register as all the freeware information on this site is publicly accessible.

You are right, there seems to be a problem. Thanks a lot for letting us know. We will look into it.

DLC50 mailed me with the same, although he says he can access his webmail and the homepage but nothing else. I'll post in the PG for a response.

It's now fixed. There was a glitch in the access rights of anonymous users to pages that consist of Drupal Views.

Not sure what the cause was but simply resetting the privileges worked fine.

Thanks for the notification. It's the sort of thing I'd never see as I'm always logged in to the site.

The problem has been fixed. So, things should work now. We are confused as to why this is happening. We will try to find out more details. Thanks again for the information... much appreciated.

Rik is currently working towards an upgrade which may affect several aspects of the site until it's full completed.
