Hi guys,

I know that this behavior is not perfect but Drupal (the CMS that our main site is based on) and vBulletin (our forum software) are not really made for each other. It was tough enough to glue these two together but in regards to session handling and expiration you can't synchronize them 100%.

TSA and VB are still two different applications and use two different session cookies. While you can set the session lifetime in VB, you cannot do so in Drupal. So it is a matter of guess work and browser settings and so on. The VB session is currently set to expire after 24 hrs.

The logins are linked together though. When your are logged out in both, you can log in in either one and you will be logged in th other as well. The safest thing to do is, logout in TSA then log back in in TSA. You'll be fine in both then.

I do not have these issues as some of the above describe. That shows that also local settings and browser properties are involved as well.

Well, sorry for the inconveniences, we married Drupal with VB and try our best to keep them both together in love and harmony ...

I have the issue on Iron but not on FF
(don't know whether this helps at all... probably not a lot)

I don't think its a browser related problem. Some other day, one person was telling that he is having problems with Firefox .

Yes, forget that post. Come to think of it, the issue's probably just simpler for me to rectify in FF or in IE from work. In Iron I have to delete files (not sure whether cache, cookies or both; I'm glad I don't have to worry about this in FF, where the history data is a resource).

Yes it was probably me who was complaining and uses Firefox. I have tried other browsers (just as browsers, nothing to do with this problem) and don't want to change so I just (reluctantly) put up with it. I have to log in/out etc. several times each day.

I guess I don't have the issue on Firefox, because my FF browser is set to delete almost all cookies by default on exiting the program. So when FF relaunches I have to log back in to the main site anyway.
