Default Yep

Hey George - I'm hearing you mate....that's the way you would think it should work but in reality it does not. Whenever I attempt the direct route I get the "Access Denied" message.

Not to worry mate...tiz but a few extra mouse clicks,

thanks.......JIM

That happens when you logged out of VB but are still logged into TSA, right?

Try going to TSA, log out, then log back into TSA. You should then be logged in in both. (Or did u already say it does not work?)

Default What is VB?

Sorry George...what is VB? I rarely log onto the 'Best Freeware' site....only when I wish to post a comment. I am going directly to this Forum site so, at the time when I attempt to log-on I am not logged on anywhere else.

cheers...JIM

Hi Jim,

TSA stands for the main site (techsupportalert.com), VB stands for the forum here (techsupportalert.com/freeware-forum).

I am pretty sure that you are still logged into TSA when that happens to you.

Hi George - I just tested your theory...went to TSA site and made sure I wasn't logged on. Then went to forum site and used the simple log-on function.....success!!
You woz right....sorry for being such a PITA mate.

Default just so you know

If you try to log in at the forms i was getting access denied .Every time so you know the big log on. The one that says that is one attempt you have 4 times left . It is the log in takes up a whole page. It was the only one that would let me in.

I must admit I am getting a bit frustrated too. I NEVER logon to the TSA site. Reason? Because no matter how many times or how often I logoff I am still always logged on when I go back again. I also know this because several times a day (randomly) I find I am logged out of the forums and can't login again until I go to TSA and logoff. Yes, only a few mouse clicks I know but VERY annoying every day.

Everytime I come online to the site... I first logon to the main TSA site. Then, I move over to the forums. Whenever, I am logged off the forum after that, I click on the "Members List" link... there I get a page to logon, with a "Remember Me" checkbox. I check that, and I logon to the forum. No problem thereafter .

While logging out, I go to the main TSA site, and I logout from there, which logs me out both from the site, and the forum. I noticed, if I logout from the forum, I am still logged on the TSA site. So, I logout from the main site.

Still seems a lot of "fiddling around" to me. Why is this the only site that we have this problem with though? Due to having the main TSA site and forums perhaps?

Beats me... don't have knowledge in that area. Maybe because the site and the forum have been linked together? Just a guess.

But, what I do, works for me ... lol.
