Drive Image successful but can't login

Hello,

Windows Server 2003 R2. Made an image of Drive C: (boot) with both Acronis and DriveImageXML. Restored to new drive successfully.

New drive boots up BUT when I login in (either as Admin or myself) it comes up with a Logging Off screen and returns me to the Login screen. Then, when I put in my proper credentials it flashing something (too fast to read) on the screen and puts me right back to the login screen.

Same exact problem with both drive image programs. Have done this MULTIPLE times with exactly the same results.

Can anyone offer hints, tips, ideas to get past the login screen please?
