I have installed Seagate Discwizard on 3 PCs to create images of each. The 3 PCs are on a LAN network, but when I installed Discwizard on one of them, which is an old HP 510a, it became disconnected from the network. All 3 have XP Home SP2 and Comodo Firewalls.
I disabled the firewall to see if it reconnected, but it does not make any difference. The only way to have all 3 connected over LAN is to uninstall Discwizard from that 1 PC. Any ideas what might cause that and how to solve it? Cheers ________________________________________ this thread moved here from the Drive Imaging review page |

hi, i used seagate disc wizard also and found it way too slow for me. it was taking 1.5 hours to make a clone disc. so i tried macrium reflect free and was really impressed with their tutorials. i had never done an image and restore before but it went flawlessly all thru. the boot cd also was very easy and well explained. i now have macrium set to do a backup image once a week and it always works perfect and only takes maybe 15 minutes to do. seagate was also a real pain to get rid of and took me a while to do that.
