Bootable images on DVD?

Is anyone familiar with freeware that creates bootable-self-extracting images (on DVD)?

Meaning that the image is burned to DVD and when is inserted it just extracts onto the partition.

I haven't used it yet, but I remember hearing somebody recommended Disk Copy:
