Default @Gizmo - That "secret" place...glad your back...

Gizmo,

I have talked to you for several years (under another nick) and always enjoyed your conversation, personality and the work you do. Not sure why you went to that "secret" place but from what I understand, through people in certain circles, maybe its best you left. I know you would never say anything negative about their group out of basic courtesy and you played the politics of your goodbye well (or at least let the editors there do it for you <grin>) this week. I am glad to see you back here doing what you love sir. Welcome back (full time)!

Sincere and kind regards,

Cc

P.S.
Honeslty, Gizmos Freeware is MUCH better

Trouble is, now we're stuck with him

Seriously, thanks for taking the trouble to post these kind words.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

The fact is I had a two year contract to write for Windows Secrets that was part of the deal when my newsletter merged with WS.

That contact expired at the start of July and I did not renew it as my time is much better spent writing for this site.

With Fred Langa and Woody still writing for WS I'm sure they won't miss me.

And no I have no intention of ever starting another tech newsletter - running this site is a big enough job and an entirely sufficient pleasure.
