I think it would be nice to have a section of the forum dedicated to the discussion of portable applications. I know that some people have an interest in that subject and would like to contribute their knowledge. I know quite a bit about that subject and would find it very convenient. I also have a large collection of portable applications that I keep updated and would like to share with others if they need a particular program. Please let me know what you think! Thanks

I think that is a good idea.
There is a large group of people interested in portable apps.
There would need to be someone with knowledge to moderate (yourself?).

We have a The Best Free Portable Applications list and A Guide to Portable Applications article at the site and it would be nice to see some action here on that.
