Default Whats going on?

It would be nice if we had a counter at the bottom of the forum homepage that shows the latest posts on the forum. See attached picture.

Thanks for the suggestion. Lets see how our team responds to this.

We have such a display on the main site though(in left hand menu), where you can see some latest threads on the forum.

The latest posts can be seen with the "New Posts" link, after you login anyways .

I don't know how you got the new post link set up, but it its not working correctly. According to my time (central time) you posted your reply to this thread at 4:49A.M. today and it is not showing up under the new posts, but your post from 12:10A.M. about DVD Videosoft is showing up.

New Posts will only show threads that you have not looked at.

Under Quick Links is an option for Todays Posts, which, I think, shows posts for the last 24 hours.

BTW I like your original idea of this thread-it would be nice to have that listing.

keroffs is correct. New Posts will show the threads in which new posts have been posted, and you have not looked them yet. It is available on the top menu line. Its the first thing I click, when I log on to the forum, and I get all the threads that have new posts since my last visit.

Oh okay I see. Hmmm not good. Well then I guess Gizmo's needs to go ahead and follow my suggestion then.

This being Christoph's realm, I'm sure he'll comment himself, and follow up the suggestion.

I am not sure whether the Last Posts display comes with the standard What's Going On box. I let Christoph figure that out...
