Default Questions about Gizmo's Freeware Product of the Year

I was happy to see this appear on the main site. I was just wondering if this is a primer for a more in depth survey or maybe it was a test to see how much interest it would attract. There was a thread on this forum but it was closed to members when I tried to make an additional comment.

I understand resources and and editors time are limited. I was just hoping for a more in depth survey that would also allow visitors comments and suggestions. Lets say 3 of the editors top choices in each category. The idea being to couple Gixmo's perspective with that of viewing audience.

I can imagine the issues involved with streamlining it to maintain interest. Say limit the entire survey to 3 or 4 pages. I don't think every sub category needs to be listed just the most important ones.

Cheers

wdhpr ... I have moved the thread from ChitChat forum to here, because of your suggestions, and also comments on the poll. Deserves more attention .

About the poll, its not a primer, or just a test... Gizmo intends to select the freeware product of the year, based on the result of this poll.

About the thread on the poll, yes... its closed at the moment now, because its placed in the Announcements Forum, and general users can't make replies there. We just noticed this, and we would be moving the thread to another apt forum, so that users can reply there.

About the suggestions here, I would direct attention to your thread, and Gizmo or others from the staff will give reply .

Thumbs up The 4 free on the internet survey

Just got done checking out one of my go to web sites.http://for-free-on-internet.com/category/bests/ In fact they reference Gizmo's site!

First let me start with I had no Idea that they had a similar survey as Gizmo's freeware product of the year.

Whats astonishing is how the survey is being conducted.
Again I am not jumping to any conclusions. Just one of those things that make you go Hmmmmm.

Cheers and Merry Christmas
