I truly feel sorry for him, and others like him, more so having once met a UK lottery winner in Spain.
Just imagine what it must be like knowing (security apart) that there is nowhere you cannot go, nothing you cannot do or nothing you cannot buy? Looking forward to something each week, even if it's only Friday might out with the lads, is what keeps humans going. Even those with little or nothing can hope and aspire to greater things, but having "everything" is a huge burden few are able to cope with effectively. I coped with my own intensity of life by living from one Greek holiday to thoughts of the next (usually three a year). Somehow, having enough money to buy Greece wouldn't have had the same buzz

Money is good for me. Being a man like Bill Gates, who has donated almost 80% of his net worth to charity ($25 billion to charity as of Sep 2011), I would make him my idol. Or living a simple life like Warren Buffet, even though being, one of the richest in the world.

Those I admire most are not the wealthy who can afford to give stuff away, but the many poor people I've met here who show kindness and hospitality even though you, as recipient, are much better off than they are.
