start welcoming home the troops

i just overheard on tv that a specific date has been set for all troops to arrive on u.s. soil, i personaly spent 2yrs in s/e asia, the first 10 months were the worst time in my life EVER, just when i thought it could get no worse i was taken prisoner, lived in a 3x3x3 box for just under a year, repetead beating, approximately 27 broken bones.

if you know anyone that is arriving soon, believe me no matter how little or how well you know them they would really appreciate a shout out for their efforts

Not everyone will identify with this because unless you've been there, you can't That said, it's worth remembering this isn't about politics, it's about people. Most of us have a choice with the tasks we are assigned by our employers, but others don't. Right or wrong, no matter what your personal feelings, these "people" I'm sure would appreciate a bit of noise on their behalf. Let's not forget also that for many their biggest battles will need to be fought after coming home
