Came across this site http://www.animecrazy.net/death-note-episode-1/ and wanted to share with you all . The video quality is just brilliant (HD) and the subtitles crystal clear.....Hope it helps somebody

Currently watching Death Note in K-Meleon browser. Btw brilliant anime..

Anupam I'm having the same download speeds as yours 22.5kbps roughly(ISP: Asianet). Just let it to buffer for 1 min(because of my slow connection) during the start and you can watch it uninterruptedly for the full episode. After Click to play icon appears you can start buffering. Streaming on this site is exceptionally fast. This is one anime that no one can afford to miss

I would like to know which ISP you're using and your monthly plan that gives around 60KBps (if am right) during weekends...I'm interested in that kind of plan.

My ISP is actually local. They get internet from ISP Airtel(dont know where they get it from, or they work directly). So, this local ISP has different plans. Mine is Friendly 128... which was earlier friendly 64. This plan provides reduced speed of 128 kbps for surfing, and around 19 kbps for downloading. For surfing, speed is OK, but for downloading, it just sucks. Moreover, it does not remain constant, and keeps fluctuating 15-22 kbps. They gave 30kbps for a few months in between but again dropped back, maybe because of some guidelines from Airtel.

On weekends, I get 60 kbps for download. Certainly not fast enough, but its OK. So, on weekends, I often download like crazy

Good thing is that there is unlimited download in this plan, and the cost is very less than other plans, which is why I have been keeping it for years.

Download of Death Note episodes is available from the site, but its on sites like rapidshare which don't support download manager. Grrr..

The episodes are available on torrent, but that torrent is around 3-4 GB. Can't afford to download that on my slow speed.

Seems like weekend watching it is
