Guys i don't even need to click any of the links you all posted to know that, with respect, you're all wrong (although 1002richards has sent an unpleasant chill down my spine with his reminder of past atrocities perpetrated in the name of pop music), because this is the worst song ever.....

To this point, for me, I think 1002richards nomination is top worst followed by yours, garth. Little cutie Rebecca's song is out of the question not the worst song. I did not listen to it 3 times like deya but ahhh....listen to it twice.

Whats my nomination?, I don't know yet but when I ll come up with a terrible

candidate, I ll post it.

Garth, I just went to that link ... it's 0540 hrs here and now I'm traumatised for the whole day!! That one is truly awful, so bad I'd blanked it from my memory 'til just now!

My appreciation of music has suffered greatly by listening to these songs even for a short period of time. I give my vote to the Shaddap You Face song which has to be one of the all time winners for worst song ever. Whats very sad it appeared there were children in the audience actually clapping their hands. I hope it hasn't caused permanent damaged to their taste in music.

OK, got some candidates

The first one is by Tom Waits. This one is special because I am a big Tom Waits fan, love the way he sings and his songwriting is in my opinion as good as it can get but this song is really bad. I hope you guys agree.
