Yes, another sad loss to the entertainments industry.

For those of us that were fans at the time, "one more thing" will always have a different meaning whenever it is spoken

He mastered the character of Columbo. He always came across as this quirky cop making the bad guys think he was easily manipulated "says the spider to the fly"

One more thing, I heard the news today and was saddened by it.

Oh just one more thing, Columbo was my favourite TV series followed by Kung Fu with David Carradine and I have watched every episode.

Oh just only one more thing, my co-workers say that I"m "so annoying" which sort of relates to the Columbo character.

Ha ha! Baretta rocked, along with some other cop and detective tv shows.

I also liked "Magnum, P.I." , "Kojak", and "The Rockford Files".

Dagnabbit, I can't stop talking...

...there was part of one episode of the latter which is burned into memory, where "Rockford" is met with a couple of thugs at the diner where Rockford is enjoying a cup of cawfee, one of the thugs gleefully picks up the bottle of sugar and pours a ridiculous amount of it into the cup, Rockford sips it and makes a sour face and adds more sugar and....

...
