@Kendall, garth. Both of you guys seem unfamiliar with the "Midnight
cowboy" story, probably an age thing. I never read the book but the movie is a great movie, a real classic that you guys need to watch if you have never seen it as an adult. The first time I saw it, I was a teen and fell sleep in the theater but have seen the film a few times as an adult and can watch it a few more times and not get bored, The movie had great actors, director, theme, music and it even won a few Oscars. The song" Everybody's Talkin" by Nilsson won a Grammy and made him a star. Its a very powerfull movie and very uncommercial, thats why its hardly ever on Television. To me, its one of the best movies that I have ever seen. Now, I don't think our good friend MC got the name from this movie. My guess is that MC is like a good old cowboy, watching the forum, late, very late in the evening making sure we don't get out of line. To me that's the Midnight cowboy, our friend. Just guessing. I never read the book Bo but i saw the film a couple of times. I see it as a tale of the anti-hero, adrift in a piece of America he doesn't understand, and you like him and his sidekick Ratzo but it's hard to know exactly why. It's a good film with a good cast. I don't remember the soundtrack. I was just messin' with Kendall, sorry dude
. Anyhow, now i can read the book for free

Here is the soundtrack, first one is Nilsson performing the song
and the second one is the first scenes from the classic film. The first one has over 2,600,000 views, amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AzEY6ZqkuE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBemzu1Fchk and garth......Where is Joe Buck? You might like this one better, its the Midnight cowboy theme by John Barry. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHhli...eature=related Bo Last edited by bo.elam; 10. May 2011 at 04:44 AM. I'm more than old enough to remember this, but unfortunately I can't claim to have contributed to it
