Thanks everyone
. Am overjoyed!!! We Indians have waited for this moment for a long time. It was really great to see India win, and a joyful, as well as an emotional moment. Even some of the team members could not stop their tears... all worked hard for it. It was a well deserved team, because they played as a unit. Here in this city, where I am currently at... there is shortage of power... and on the day of the final, power went off since late afternoon. We listened to commentary on the radio most of the part, and followed the match. There were some anxious moments in the match. Later, towards the end, we saved energy from the inverter, and turned every light in the house, and watched TV... it was amazing!! Watched the finish, and watched India lift the cup. It was just awesome. After that, it was just Diwali all over India. People came out on streets waving the flags, shouting, screaming, having fun, bursting crackers... all this continued late in the night. Am so happy!!

When India was batting I had switched off the TV, lot of people die in India when Sachin gets out...with such a important match, I didn't wanted to take chances - I watched the match after 20 overs - nerves were settled by then - for me.
