Ok I may not be up on the latest worldly wonders. But I just saw a preview of the National Geographic Channels latest documentary and I cant understand why PETA isn't objecting

Is PETA a political organization? I guess missed that. Actually it appears they demonstrated how they ate people by butchering, cooking and eating pigs and such. So there might be an objection in there for PETA.

I'm not sure so I did the disclaimer to be safe.
Actually the only time I hear about PETA is when some of Hollywood's (lets say esthetically gifted) members wear little more than there coming into the world suites to protest fur coats and hamburgers. I think settingsuns link sums up PETA's philosophy. But I wonder if members of PETA would celebrate if they were the ones on the menu.
