It's a side by side comparison of a SSD, SSD/HDD Hybrid, 10k rpm HDD and a 7200rpm HDD

Obviously the test has been carried out by Seagate themselves but the benefit of a hybrid drive is still an interesting one given the cost saving over a full SSD.

I wonder how computer drives will look like in ten years. Like all technology, prices will continue to decrease as the latest and greatest emerge. I have a hunch SSD's will get cheaper just like ram did.
For the interim the SSD/HDD Hybrid looks like a good choice.
