Default PICS TAKEN 70 YRS AGO & LEFT IN A BROWNIE CAMERA (December 7, 1941)

Isn't it amazing how film could last so long in a camera without disintegrating?
Fantastic photos taken 68 years ago. Some of you will have to go to a museum to see what a Brownie camera looked like.

Hard to believe the high quality of these picture
These Pearl Harbor photos were found in an old Brownie stored in a foot locker. and just recently taken in to be developed.

THESE PHOTOS ARE FROM A SAILOR WHO WAS ON THE USS QUAPAW ATF-11O.
"SPECTACULAR!" What devastation!

Great photos

Further down on the same site is a picture showing looting after Katrina entitled - "Whats been missing during the tragedy in Japan?"

Pause for thought. I witnessed the same greed here after the disaster in Teresopolis, and not just from the poor people who had little enough to start with anyway.

It just goes to show the great advantage of B/W over colour is that there are no colour dyes to degrade, hence the quality of these images which would have been shot on roll film.

I also like the flash animation of these photos; talk about the old and the new!

Many thanks wdhpr for the link.

Amazing picture quality. Pity after 68 years we're still all bombing each other.
