Those who dismiss the notion of alien life as being impossible have never had an argument, either logically or mathematically. I guess the only real criteria revolves around "when" those here who are supposedly the custodians of our well being deem we are intellectually fit to receive this information.
In appreciation of how much more advanced than us an alien life form would have to be to get here, the only possible reason they could have for doing so is if we have something they cannot find elsewhere, whether it be space, minerals of some sort, biological samples or whatever. Otherwise, even the dimest and dumbest of aliens will surely only need to take one look at our society and realize their best plan is to stay as far away as possible. In the event we do have some resource they cannot live without, the chances of us being able to prevent their taking it are close to nil. Either way then, there's nothing worth worrying about because it either won't happen, or if it does we can't control the outcome.

I heard about this story a couple of months ago but now youTubers are involved and are claiming a cover-up.

I have to admit the pictures looks kind of like a spacecraft. Last edited by wdhpr; 10. May 2012 at 04:13 AM. |
