Sorry, I had to move this to the ChitChat forum, as Norton is a paid product, and we don't want people to get the idea that we allow discussion of paid products here.
That apart, this from Norton is even more ahead of what ZoneAlarm did few days earlier. I think these companies are taking their cue from the fake security products, who scare and lure innocent people into buying them. They know there are innocent people out there who can be lured like this. Its a shame that the company who is supposed to protect their customers from malware, is resorting to such means, just for the sake of getting money.

![]() Symantec sounds desperate. Some of the symantec forum guys think that someone from Comodo were creating the popups! The forum moderator confirms that this popup has been created by Norton and thinks that it is "funny"..... ![]() http://community.norton.com/t5/Norto.../302094/page/2 If you check the youtube videos in the forum links, they are even more hilarious and sillier. Maybe if more of their customers protest, they would remove the popup. |
