Have you ever been frustrated by how much time it takes to do certain things on a computer?
I was today. I finally became convinced to test out a Linux OS so I easily downloaded the software and made a splendid installation disk. No problem. The next step was to simply revamp my hard drive partitions That step took hours! There was a conflicting error on one partition something about a cluster. I ran disk check and it fixed the problem. However, disk check took a very long time. Repartitioning took hours. I was a spoiled grouchy person today. I should have done chilax and recalled how just like yesterday there was no affordable computer nay internet. PLEASE SHARE your personal frustrations and favorable impressions of how computing has advanced over the years. I could yap voluminously. |

Hey bibzgi
![]() You make a good point. I get frustrated by my old desktop pc to the point where i only really use it for storing stuff on. It's funny when you consider that the thing has more number crunching power than the entire 1969 moon landing hardware put together. Doesn't take long before we take stuff for granted. garth |
