Seems like we could use a review of these.
I never got taught this at school as they were still using quill pens and inkpots then, of course, so I had to self-learn. I get the feeling there are some things I'm missing. |

I 'know' where the keys are, sadly my fingers don't seem to want to accept that, sigh.

Quite often I see my colleagues using 1 to 2 fingers to type, yet they type pretty fast! Normally I use 9 fingers, except the left thumb, by standard I think, to master typing as I attended a typing class in the secondary school.

Funny that you mentioned about typing tutors, I was just looking for one myself. Here's what I found, a list of freewares (and some sharewares) at http://typingsoft.com/all_typing_tutors.htm
I'm currently looking for a typing tutor that teaches one-hand typing (dvorak left hand to be precise), I can remember where the keys were but sometimes mixed them up with the QWERTY keyboard and also, most typing tutors assume that you are typing with two hands , not that I'm disabled or anything, I just want to learn how to type with one hand and use my other hand to use the mouse or drink water or something .

)See, I don't spend all my time stuck to a PC (I'm currently listening to BFMV, never to old plus I'm trying to get the 'odd' treble beat that the drummer uses so I can practice it next week. Trust me (?), this won't hurt... visions of The Graduate)Rik Last edited by rikmayell; 04. Feb 2010 at 05:15 PM. Reason: felt like it |

Mixed with sugar, crushed limes and ice however to make caipirinha and it's a totally different ballgame. This stuff slips down so easy that you don't realize how affected you are until you hit the floor (if then!)

[/QUOTE]Hi MC, I have a very nearly empty bottle of Pirassununga 51; very potent but very yummy when mixed as you described above! ![]() My favourite Brazilian cocktail has to be Caipiroska; vodka, sugar, ice and fresh fruit of your choice eg passion friut, strawberry etc. It is a lethal combination as you wrongly assume there is no alcohol in such a gorgeous drink, until of course you attempt to speak and walk at the same time!!
