Very strange indeed.
Does caps lock work with these keys (eg. does caps lock make a capital T or Y)? If caps lock does work, then I would guess that you have a broken keyboard. (You could also confirm this, if you could attach your current keyboard to another computer, and see what happens.) |

There are many possibilities. We can narrow it down a bit by a process of elimination.
The first step is to borrow another keyboard if you don't have one. Try it out. If the problem is gone you know it is the keyboard. After you try this come back and let us know if there is still a problem.

[Caps Lock] works with them.
My keyboard's probably broken. ![]() 56ty are all close together and so are -=[]. Do you think I could take it apart and fix it somehow? If not oh well... my cheap [body part] memorized the alt codes for the characters I can't make using the [Shift] key. Thanks for helping me.

I see cheap keyboards around all the time. Like $5 bucks brand new.
Any of the moderators around here know why tsafreak's profile says he has 0 posts? He has a least two now!

My keyboard works fine again. I didn't clean it or anything. It just randomy started to work like normal...
