I actually got this thread idea from Ritho, who started a similar thread called "Funniest quotes and one liners". I was going to post a quote on his thread until I realized it wasn't funny, but enlightening. So I'll start with the one I was going to post on the other thread from W.C. Fields that I think has a lot of truth to it.
