I have also noticed that problem. And its not just with MajorGeeks, its a problem with some other sites too. The beta softwares were not properly indicated to be in beta. I went to the home site, and found the software to be in beta.
I still like the download sites, and I have subscribed to the feeds of many, but these are the things they should take care of.
