Update:

I had a very comprehensive reply to my last email from Mikhail at OSS today with news of the latest developments.

He appreciates that these things are taking time but I also appreciate that they want to get this right and not rush out releases before they are ready (like some favorite vendors we all know!).

There will be a further set of releases heading up to the final and each one will have more of the missing components included. Several highly skilled testers are already running the software and it's proving extremely competent and stable (another bonus then!).

If you just want to play then download the latest beta but if you want it for real protection then I'd wait just a bit longer. Naturally I'll post the details when I believe the current version is complete enough to be used for full protection.

I remain quietly excited and confident about this so long as it continues to be available as freeware. I have asked Mikhail if they intend to do a "Panda" on us once the beta testings finished and I'll let you know what his response is!
