That's one long thread. If Emsisoft keeps on doing that on purpose, it might start an anti-spyware war or something.
In my opinion, tests conducted by security vendors are usually to make them look good. Some tests are true while others can be quite misleading (obviously). That's why I don't really trust them. Independent tests on the other hand are more accurate but nevertheless, some might "recommend" certain vendor's security software because they pay more on ads or something like that...
I sort of miss the good old anti-spywares like spybot search and destroy...
