If you try to download Nuance Pdf Reader from the above page, it will ask you for the details, like name, country, email address. Some people might not like to provide that.

The above page has a small review too. Here is what it says about the conversion feature :

So, it looks like the conversion feature takes you to a web interface, and is not a part of the reader. I think individual software which perform the same job, and can be installed, would be better in this case. However, I haven't checked the converter myself, and its always good to know about different options available.
